Pretty in pink, decorated with a bird theme and a feminine decor, Cherry Hill Haven II is a 10 bed home exclusively for women with cognitive impairments. The activities that most delight the ladies are word games and David on keyboard for sing-a-longs. The staff build trusting relationships with each resident and follow their individually designed care plans. A cozy sitting room is ideal for Shirley Temple or Carol Burnett and popcorn.
Cherry Hill Haven III
Wander risk resolved, featuring a beautiful interior courtyard, this 16 bed home creates the illusion of freedom for people with dementia. Part of the philosophy of care at Cherry Hill Haven III is to set the residents up for success. This home is designed so that when a resident walks out of his room, regardless of which way he or she decides to go, they will end up in the common area. It is excellent for people who love to walk; the spacious hallways circle the courtyard and offer sunlight and a continuous trail. The coded entry doors offer additional security, and the whirlpool spa is ideal for residents who still prefer bathing over showers. Cherry Hill Lodge
A Lodge for men, this six bed memory care home nestled among the scenic hardwoods of Traverse City has a decor that is fully masculine, mimicking the warm and rustic feel of a fishing cabin. The spacious bedrooms with attached full bathrooms are enhanced with a wildlife theme. The lodge features a wall-mounted shoulder wheel, arm pulleys, and a recumbent bike, that are not only great for exercise, but serve as redirecting tools.
