First, before I begin my memoirs, I must try to express my gratitude and love to my friends and helpers on the staff of this nursing home. They are the most kind and loving friends I've ever known. No matter how impatient I become with my shortcomings, they are very kind and understanding. They are my everlasting friends. I thank them with all my heart. Bessie.
To the Upstairs Gang at Cherry Hill,
Our family would like to thank you all with all our hearts for taking such compassionate, loving care of our husband, father, and grandfather. We could sleep peacefully knowing Bruce was in such capable, caring hands. You all made a painful, difficult part of our life so much easier to bare. Bruce was close to the angels before he got there. Thank you all so much. Mary, John, Paula, Jim and kids.

I want to thank you for taking such good care of Dad. I could tell by his reaction to you and Nancy and Michelle that he felt very comfortable with you. You could get him to cooperate, which is wonderful. It takes a special kind of person to work with the people you do! Please tell Nancy and Michelle that I thank them and appreciate what they did for Dad. I know there were others as well, but I saw them the most on Saturdays when I usually visited. There are no words to say how much your kind, loving care has meant to me for the years my mom was able to spend with you. My Mom's life began in a loving farm home called Hall's Haven. She was lucky enough to end her long life at Cherry Hill Haven. The circle is complete, from love to love. You are all such special people. Thank you so very much for taking Lottie into Cherry Hill Haven and providing such excellent care for many years. Leanne has the highest regards and respect for you. She kept me informed as to Lottie's care. Your staff giving service are all to be commended, not only for service but for their care and love shown to Lottie. This is a beautiful nursing home. I have been treated royally and with the greatest respect, which I am very thankful for. Cherry Hill Haven Family,
There are no words to express our gratitude for the care given to our father. It was a very difficult time for us making the decision to place him in a facility; but the love, compassion, and respect you showed helped us through this. Having confidence in your knowledge and skills, and knowing you would look out for his best interests and treat him as though he were your own family member both when we were there and more importantly when we couldn't be there, gave us peace of mind. I am so grateful for the kindness and compassion shown Jack even when there were difficult days. So many times it was above and beyond. I, too, felt "family" when I was there.
